To Blog again

I haven't blogged for years now... I do write once in a while.... poetry mostly... sometimes shorts....

Years have gone by.... I am back in Delhi for most part.... I don't know if i am particularly happy about that.... but it seems OK... another week to go for my Birthday.... you seriously do stop counting now...

I want to tell myself that I learned a lot in Hyderabad...  good, bad and the ugly.... all those days... spent walking in Hyderabad and then then driving that crazy ass scooty.... wow..

Aman's father passed away two days ago.... he is here in Delhi and some of us went to meet him.

December Spring

I am heading back to Dilli.

This entry comes while I wait for my Flight at Hyderabad Airport. I am excited to go back.... I always am.....

But this time is different. I am leaving something behind. It's like never before. It's neither a good feeling nor a bad one. But it feels like going away for a strange reason. Last few days have been great. They have been beautiful.

Sometimes we don't have to explain. Sometimes all reasoning fails. They say it has never been this cold in Hyderabad. But I saw spring in full bloom. Things were cosy.

There are things pending. I have to go back and get on them. too much.... too many...

I know I will comeback. Too soon.... too fast.....

Hyderabad Blue(S)cooty

Hyderabad is teaching me a lot.

Every old City has its own charm. This one is beyond Char-Minaar.... there are quite a few things that I like about the city.

Number one of-course is the Biryaani.... I love it. I've had it at all kindda places.... even went to old city for it.

I really like being in the City.... its crowded yet eventful. There are all sortta activities happening all around. Just like Delhi.... you just need to find out.

I just purchased a second hand scooty.... yeah "why should girls have all the fun".... It's fun....I was too scared to get a bike.... and too broke to buy a car. I already pay my EMI's for car and apartment in Delhi.

So its fun, Scooty is really fun..... seems like such a fun ride.... cost of running isn't much and gets me around.

Ramblings:

VICNA went for two trips in the meanwhile। first one was to Thailand (Thanksgiving Break) and second one to Nanital (during their anniversary)

I talked to Naveen Sir today after so many years. He sounded just the same.

Tyagi is back in Delhi..... I was talking to Garv on the phone and he said "चाचू आप मुझसे गाजिअबाद मिलने आयोगे".... I love him....will definitely try to go and catch up with them this time.

December 2, 2010

I was talking to Kameshwari today and she said "Time really does fly by"..... she was referring to last year and how I celebrated Diwali with those guys in a strange land.

I have to agree with her, it does fly by.... 2009.... and now 2010 is coming to an end. Only if someone could explain the concept of time. I guess that's the beauty of time.

Ok, time for updates:

  • Lala Times: stupid asshole has got some Kindda clot in his brain !@#$% what the Fu%$..... seriously... its for real. doctors say it will go away with medicines. he is taking them. He was to get married on 19th of November..... they found out about the issue 3 weeks before the wedding and told the girls family as well. They called the wedding off.... apparently the condition can be life long and it might recur after a couple of years.
  • CEO news: what is his thing. or rather.... what are his things.... now he is growing kindda anorexic. he barely eats. he weighs like 57 kgs.... quite frankly that's underweight for his height. he is still in love with "her"....
  • Jose points: just his usual, married.... calculative.... got another flat in Bangalore.... so much for his million dollar dreams...
  • Pauva hairlights: He is still drinking his liver out. He is a good example of how alcohol can make you what you are not. he is his own antithesis when he is drunk. He got hair weaving done this year and that has brought about couple of good laughs in our lives.
2010...has been a good year for me. I have traveled quite a bit, learned a lot. reconciled with old friends.

Year end will bring more traveling and celebration of New Years in a different land.

all is well.....

Mama's boy is 30

So it was that time of the year again.... only this time it was bigger.... I completed 3 decades on this massive wonderful place... called earth....

I am scared... but i was scared when I turned 20 also....

We had it again ... the traditional terrace party... I did it all... balloons, ribbons, candles, lights, music, unlimited booze and beer, food, cake..... after all.... it is a big deal....

My Birthday week, I did a lot more than just the Birthday party.... I met few really old/dear friends. Blast from the past..... but it was pleasant... I stated clearly what I have learned in last 10 years....Life is too short.... live and enjoy each moment...

More musings.....

CEO is in love.... and she is gone..... blah.... blah..... this has given him some focus....I guess... Lala AKA Bobby is getting married.....

Mr. Pauva is no longer just a Pauva, I have upgraded his title as Khamba kam Pauva. he just drinks way too much. while I try to overcome my addictions, i preach about "overcoming" addictions to everyone.

Cheena and Victor are enjoying their married life. My brother is still unmarried. I am trying to get him married by 2011.

Oh...yeah ... after so many leanings and all the wise words...... I would like to tell you that for the first time i missed my flight.

I would like to blame it on stupid CWG..... I left on time.... it took me friggin 1 hour 45 minutes to reach the airport.

we grow old...... but....we don't change.... do we?

Bobby K. and his cigarette; Up in the air

Last night me and the gang (hardly a gang now) went out for a movie.... we watched "Up in the Air". It received eight Broadcast Film Critics Association nominations and garnered a win for Adapted Screenplay, six Golden Globe nominations, earning a win for Best Screenplay, three Screen Actors Guild nominations, and six Academy Award nominations.

Up in the Air has received recognition from numerous critics' associations.

Well having fired over a hundred people... I think it was pretty interesting. It was also interesting because I have the experience of being on the wrong side of the gun as well. Honestly, I liked the movie. Despite the Drama.... i think it had pretty good punches.
-------

Bobby was driving tonight.... he picked me up...... we drove over to CEO's house and while we were waiting for CEO ... Bobby decided to light up a cigarette.... now the cigarette was already out of its case/Packet for a while.... because he took it out when he was waiting for me downstairs.... he was about to light it... but then i came.... so he just left the cigarette on the dashboard.

anyways....at CEO's (downstairs)......He was about to light the cigarette.....I noticed that he was going to light up the filter.... he had it the wrong way..... it was probably going to be another 2 seconds.... or may be 3 .....I had to decide fast...should I stop him from Lighting the filter and wasting the cigarette ... or should i just let it be ... there was so much to think about ... devil inside me wanted to let it be... and then laugh at him for being so stupid and silly.....but i cud still do all that, even if i wudd've stopped'im.

It's ridiculous... but as he lighted the matchstick....i leaped over and blew it out. I told Bobby... that he had it wrong....

Frog Tales: On poetry Blog

Frogs on my roof
Make too much noise
They croak constantly and are never quiet
Anti feminist theories down their throats
Makes all their songs coarse

These frogs on my roof
Do not believe in monsoon
For them clouds never disappear
The world is a gigantic pot of beer

Google tells me
“Centuries have passed by
Many a Single mothers have tried
They are stuck upside down
Legend has it, they will never drown”

Hateful Musings and Jugni

I have been busy....... wait a minute.... I have said that before......That never stopped me...

I am in Love ..... wait a minute ..... i promised myself..(last time).....i ain't doing it again.....I Grow Old.... I grow old......for what.....

Last few months have been dry......(and no--not the climate)....

I am jealous.... I am human..... I hate that guy...... why should I even care.... he is married....he is fat..... so is his wife......I guess its his fat pay check....damn...

You know my awesome fitness routine..... it was ruined......I have to work these days .....and that means no gym and/or jogging...... So you know how I lost those damn 5 kgs..... for that strip show.... I have gained that extra baggage again....... I am by no means Fat.....But I just don't want those 5 kgs....

I have been away from home ....I hate leaving Delhi......and it looks like I have to go again .... and I would probably be away for 4-5 months.....

You know that version of Jugni in "Oye Lucky"...... is amazing.....its super duper amazing ......I am listening to it right now.... i listen to it all the time actually..... for some reason I have never really liked English songs so much......I mean I have my fav's..... but I love Bollywood and Punjabi music all the way ...

to be loved.....

Internet tries to tell me all about Love
Yet I am mystified…
Night after night
Too much candy, I perceive
Too many fools, I believe

Love me
When the grass says I am yellow
Love me
When all the words fade
Love me
When the illness takes over
Love me
Whenever you find time to Love me….

Of that SMS musingly typed
One sluggish night,
Saved in Drafts, yet never sent

Love me
Like the spring in winters
Love me
The way you eat a chocolate cake
Love me
At every station
Love me
The way you want to love me

Of those calls expected after a stupid fight
Never answered;
Yet enough to light up her face

Love me
Under the vast blue sky
Love me
Under shadow of those heavy clouds
Love me
Under those satin sheets
Love me
Anywhere you want to love me

Draupadi

Draupadi is definitely the most talked/written/scrutinized about heroine from Indian Mythology (Mahabharata). Draupadi was a damsel of dark complexion but of great beauty, "as radiant and graceful as if she had descended from the city of the gods.” She gets her Patronymic name (Draupadi) because of her father who was King Drupada. Draupadi, born of Agnigarbha (womb of fire) is a boon to her father King Panchal.

Revered on one hand as one of the Pancha Kanya- (Ahalya, Tara, Mandodari, Satyavati and Draupadi) the five supremely virtuous women of Hindu myth, her name still bears stigma, so much so that no girl is ever named after her.

The tales of the flame like beauty of the enchanting princess of Panchala , of her rivetingly lovely dark looks , of her captivating blue lotus fragrance spread like forest fire far and wide. It set aflame the hearts of countless princes. Even the sage Vyasa went into a rapture describing her extraordinary beauty. It was the only time he described his heroine in such detail.“ Eye-ravishing Panchali, black-and-smiling-eyed… Shining coppery carved nails, Soft eye-lashes, Swelling breasts Shapely thighs… Neither short nor tall, neither dark nor pale, with wavy dark-blue hair, eyes like autumn-lotus leaves, fragrant like the lotus…extraordinarily accomplished, soft-spoken and gentle… Her sweat-bathed face is lovely, like the lotus, like the jasmine; slim-waisted like the middle of the sacred Vedi, long-haired, pink-lipped, and smooth-skinned. She a dream incarnated of gods and men alike.” (Adi Parva 169.44-46, Sabha 65.33-37)

Other names
  • Krisnā or Krsnā : the dark-skinned one: That is actually her first name.
  • Pānchālī : Because she was the princess of "Panchāla" and not because she had five (Paanch) husbands.
  • Yajnaseni : From Yajnasen (i.e. King Drupada)
  • Sairindhri: the maid-servant' of the queen of Virata
  • Parshati: Because of her grandfather Prishata
  • Panchami: for having five husbands
  • Nitayauvani: the ever-young
Birth Of Draupadi:

There are a couple of different versions about Draupadi's birth. Though most of them pretty much state that she was born off a Yagya (sacrificial fire) , performed by King Drupada. Drupada was defeated by Pandavas in a war (initiated by Drona: who was their Guru). To gain revenge on Drona, he performed a great fire-sacrifice to beget a powerful son who could kill him. Draupadi thus emerged with Drishtadyumna from the sacrificial fire.

Some versions state that Drupada just wanted a son from that sacrificial fire. After his defeat Drupada undertook a putrakami yagna, a sacrifice to please the gods and obtain offspring by their blessing. Drupada desired a son who could kill Drona who had humiliated him in battle and taken half his kingdom. When the Yagna was being performed, the sage who was performing the Yagna asked the King to get his wife, as she was required to be there for the final sacrificial offerings. The Queen was taking a bath at that time and the sage was irritated by that so he offered the final offerings himself. Hence Draupadi (already a woman) also emerged from the sacrificial fire.

Another version states that the king wanted a son to kill Drona as well as an exceptionally beautiful daughter who could marry Arjuna, because he immensely was struck by Arjuna's valour.

Marriage to Arjuna

Her hand was sought by many princes, and so her father determined to hold a swayamvara and allow her to exercise her own choice in the selection of a husband. The swayamvara was proclaimed, and princes assembled from all parts to contend in the lists for the hand of the princess. Yet again there are few different versions:

  • Her father wanted her to Marry Arjun, but she didn't want to marry Arjun because he defeated (and hence insulted) her father to please his teacher. She wanted to marry someone who could defeat Arjun. She instantly fell in love with that adorable youth of proud bearing , looking fearless and handsome as he emerged out of the crowd of Brahmin's squatted in the far corner of the hall. She was delighted when as he shot down the target with remarkable skill , grace and accuracy. When it came to light that he was none other than Arjuna the Pandava prince , she was bemused and she smiled within herself in slight amusement at the irony of fate.
  • She always wanted to marry Arjuna, hence when Karna picked up the bow and was about to aim at the target she announced in the court that he is a "soot-putra" (Charioteer's son : of low birth) and hence she will not marry him. That pain and humiliation burned deep into Karna's soul searing his self esteem. Karna later in his life did not let go a slightest opportunity to hurt and humiliate Draupadi.
Marriage to other Pandavas
It is well known that after the
swayamvara was won by Arjuna he and his brothers went back to their hut and from the door informed their mother that they have received a wonderful Bhikhsa (alms) so as to surprise her. Kunti (their mother) without looking at the Bhiksha, told them that whatever it is that they have received, all the brothers should share "it".

According to some scholars
Kunti had come to know of the Victory so she had purposely asked Arjuna to share whatever he had received with all his brothers , for being a Woman , she knew that if just one brother enjoys the ‘togetherness & intimacy' with a beautiful lady, the others might feel jealous or lonely and thus the brotherhood might just get ruined. They were on Earth for a great purpose – thus Kunti could not allow any mishap among the brothers for a Beautiful woman – and there were high chances for the same for it has been observed since eons that Men forget everything – JUST EVERYTHING – in order to impress or win the ‘love' of a Beautiful woman – more so Beautiful to look at.

While others believe that it was just destiny. While they are contemplating (Dharam-Sankat) what to do Lord Krishna reaches their hut.
Lord Krishna intervened and tells everyone that Draupadi was too much obsessed about perfection (in her previous life) and she had done a lot of ‘tapasya' for a husband having many a righteous qualities – which was not possible for ‘one' human to have:
  1. Someone who is a Symbol of Dharma and truth (Yudhishtar)
  2. Someone who is as strong as great Hanuman (Bheema)
  3. Someone who is a great archer like Brahmin Parushuram (the sixth avatar of Vishnu, Guru of Bhishma, Drona and Karna) (Arjuna)
  4. Someone who is Exceptionally Handsome (Nakul)
  5. Someone who is Extremely Tolerant and enduring (Sehdeva)
There is yet another very interesting version which is slightly different. Since she was not born of the womb, she was ‘Ayonija’. She’s born of the sacrificial fire, hence Agni Sambhuta. She had three previous births as mentioned by the various puranas: Maya Sita, Nalayani – wife of sage Maudgalya, and Indrasena – daughter of a King who ruled Varanasi.

In Draupadi’s previous birth as Nalayani she is married to an aged sage, Maudgalya, who is happy with her loyalty and grants her a boon by which he becomes young and both of them enjoy their youth taking different forms. Yet Nalayani’s lust is unquenched. The sage curses her that she will have her desires fulfilled only in her future births. Before she meditates and immolates herself, Lord Shiva appears to her while she utters ‘Patim dehi’ five times. Shiva grants her 5 husbands in her next birth.

The Dice Game and द्रौपदी का चीर हरण

In the great gambling (Dice) match Yudhisthira played at Hastinapura against his cousins, the Kauravas, and lost his all - his kingdom, his brothers, himself, and their wife Draupadi.

Draupadi who was menstruating at that time was in separate chambers. The custom in those days was so; when a queen was having her periods she was suppose to be in seclusion. She was to rest in separate chambers and not to see anyone. At that time she was clad in just one piece of cloth in her chamber. First a sentry was sent over to call her to the court. She refused to come to the court stating

"If my lord (Yudhishtar) did stake himself and become a slave, he could not wager me, for a slave owns neither his own life nor the life of another. Speak, therefore, unto my husband these words, and unto Duryodhana say: 'Draupadi hath not been won'."

That was when Duryodhana asked Dussasana to drag her to the court. Karana, Shakuni and Duryodhana call her a whore since she has five husbands. Dussasana dragged her by the hair into the pavilion before all the chieftains, and tauntingly told her that she was a slave girl, and had no right to complain of being touched by men. He also abused her, while Duryodhana invited her to sit on his thigh.

Dussasana attempts to disrobe her, but she prays to Krishna who mysteriously gives clothes to Draupadi and saved her from dishonour.

In another version it was Surya, the Sun god to saved Draupadi. Krishna of course did have a distinct role, but it was rather indirect, and also unknown to the humans, including Draupadi. Draupadi prayed to Krishna and Krishna asked her not to worry and pray to Surya. She didnt understand the connection, but nevertheless did as instructed. Anyway, with that Krishna left. Unknown to any human, he met the Sun god on his way back, and reproached him for having forgotten his debt to Draupadi, and not helping her at the time of her need. He reminded him that he had borrowed clothes from Draupadi in an earlier existence of hers, for the wedding of his son, Sani, and told him that the pay back time had come. Dussasana was trying to disrobe Draupadi and he should redeem his debt. The sun god instructed Chhaya (literally, “Shadow”) and Maya (literally, “illusion”) to dress Draupadi. Unseen by everyone including Draupadi, these two celestials kept dressing her, as Dussasana kept disrobing her.

As she rescued her hapless husbands from slavery , even the embittered Karna could not help exclaiming in admiration that none of the world’s renowned beautiful women had accomplished such a feat: like a boat she has rescued her husbands who were drowning in a sea of sorrows (Sabha 72.1-3).

being late.....being numb

I am Late.

Well this is not the first time that I have been late. I have been late before.... actually many times..... But this is different.

My last post was on November, 24th, 2008. Everything was normal....you know like everyone wants things to be great in their lives....well the fact is that they just want things to be normal.

Normal is great.

So it was normal. Two birthdays were lined up. My Little Sister and my Mom. (November 26th and November 28th).... Even when a loved one is away, things can be normal. Because you know that you will eventually meet. This was the first time that my sister wasn't with me/us on her birthday. She was/is in UK. We called her, we wished her. Normal.... Love, a temporary separation.....phone calls, distance, different time zones ...

normal.....

You all know whats coming up next.....unfortunately those innocent people didn't....

I am late.

I am late in expressing my feelings (#$%@&*: I dont even know if that is the word I wanna use) for what happened in Mumbai on 26th November (and thereafter).

I am Late because I don't know what I should write about.

Veteran actor Anupam Kher hasn’t been able come to terms with the Mumbai terror attacks like any one of us. The actor has expressed his helplessness and anger at what happened in Mumbai.

In an interview to a news daily, the actor gushed “It left me numb, then angry and helpless.

In a similar fashion many other celebrities and known business leaders have reacted to the Mumbai terror attacks.

I am no celebrity.

"Normal" man is numb.

I feel like a failure..... because I try to write something intelligent here.... you know about politics, national security, armed forces, police...... but I can't....I just can't. I want to ...may be give some direction or...express my anger...but I can't.

My "words" and way too "normal".......

More weddings

I have never seen so many weddings in one go...... seriously in last three weeks I have attended close to seven weddings and related ceremonies....

I was away from work because of another wedding in the family...... but it was more fun because I knew more people and also because I was involved big time in this wedding..... I missed Cheena (my lil sis) because she is in London for a training program. actually she is just so much fun at Family functions and weddings..... we all missed her so much.

It was our fav. cousin's wedding..... she was really sad that Cheena was not here.... her younger sister was so upset, that she didn't even wanna steal the shoes at the wedding..... anyways.....we all were sad about her not being here..... but we had to live with it......

Even though we missed her terribly we made sure that we do everything possible to make this a memorable day for Ashu (the bride). I even got Mehndi done on my shoulder.....

here are some of the pics:

Mehndi Ki Raat, marriage season and unmarried guys

The wedding season is here and WE are so charged up..... we are on a roll.... I have been going to all the weddings possible.....and drinking as much as possible since there is nothing much to do for guys.... I love it when they keep serving good snacks along with drinks....

There are too many weddings..... but the sad part is that I was not able to go for Aditya's wedding.... Oh... Capt. Aditya N. Kumar's wedding.... well it was in Dehradoon ..... and since I am the only one (in the family) who can drive a car.... I had to be here.... Aditya called me.... he was upset..... but main bhi to majboor tha......Dude.... Congratulations....

So there goes another one.... Now With Aditya getting married, all three of my friends from school are married.... and another fact.... all of it is "ARRANGED" stuff.... well ...oh there is another one ... Nishit... but he wasn't really my friend because of school....so anyways he is getting married in another week or so....

But as of now none of the official "GANG" members are married....

CEO: needs to earn more money (deals, more deals and yeah load shit money)... so may be 5 years....

Bobby Katyal: Well in a way he is still struggling with his childhood (thats probably true for a lot of people) anyways he will probably be married in another year or so.... basically whenever he is able to sort of the major crisis that involves "stapling" "filing" "delivering" shipments....

Tharki Dev: Well he was already engaged.... but apparently we feel that it's not going to work out... if it does....it's god's Grace

पौवा: "No liquor" has left him really depressed..... I don't see him married for another two years at least

thats it..... good nite!!

yeah.. shit happened... I lost my blog roll for no good reason....it's just not there ....wtf....i'l have to fix it... damn...

A couple of people have requested me for a translation:

Basically I am just complaining and being grumpy about the fact that people don't decorate their houses with the lights for more than a couple of days..... I love colorful lights everywhere and on Diwali that combination of lights looks so alluring. But unfortunately I really can't go out so much on Diwali.....So I request everyone to put the light decoration on at least for a week....

Happy Diwali...

I am also adding a pic!!

शहरूख खान और तीन टाँग वाला बकरा

While driving to work I saw this Circus poster on the crossing. It cracks me up totally. For those of you who can't read Hindi I am going to translate :

See a Three legged Buck (male goat)
Of Shahrukh Khan's Fame
Apollo Circus
Daily Three shows
Noida
Blah Blah

Of course they are referring to Shahrukh Khan's TV show "Circus"; But thats not really the part that cracks me up; It's the order of the content. I think it's really funny that in the first line they are mentioning the Three Legged "Bakara" and that is being followed by Shahrukh Khan (even though in a bigger font). Apparently they know that their major attraction is the poor three legged animal.......why exactly are they using SRK is beyond me......It's OK if you don't find it funny....btw I will go for this..... I have never been to be a circus.....

Love Tag by Keshi

First things first: Please check pics from My Trip to Sangla Valley on my Photo Blog

http://akkipics.blogspot.com/

So I have to do this Love tag by Keshi. Actually I also need to complete a few other Tags.....I will do them..... I promise.... I am just slow with Tag's..... I actually am slow with pretty much everything (retard). You may think that, that "sucks"..... but then you should think of activities, where being "fast" and/or "quick" is not appreciated .....

Thanks Keshi for the Tag.....like with all my tags, I have this special Pic for this tag.... I call it the love tag....

1. If your lover betrayed you, what will your first thought be?

Honestly, I can’t say….. It’ll hurt but I really can’t say what my first thought would be…

2. If you can have a dream coming true, what would it be?

Don’t judge me people…. I want to be a billionaire…...or at least marry a billionaire’s daughter…..

3. What is the one thing most hated by you?

Fake people, Fake public figures, Fake smiling assholes…….. People who want to motivate you by “just” speaking and telling you “stuff”

19. If you get to go back in time and fall in love all over again, would it still be with the same person?

YES…I will quote from a post on my blog.

The time that I have been away from you I have learnt a lot of things too. I learnt about my mistakes. Not that I really care about them…..I would have still made those mistakes… because those mistakes got me closer to you. And then there were your mistakes…..or were they again my mistakes…that created the distance between us. Would I go back in time and change things?….a part of me wants to change it…. But then…I really don’t think I want things to change….the way I love you now….I never loved before…. I was selfish. I still am.

Blank Paper’s Itch

This poem was written couple of years ago......

When I try to study
A blank paper, on a crossroad
Time eats me up as quicksand
I am volatile without a coffin

Fluttering eye and siesta in my veins
A night of pain
And a heart so distant
Too many pictures around
Portraits of strangers
And off season discounts
Flash through the whiteness
Of the blank paper
Stories, poems, songs, sketches
Memoirs and diary entries
Epistolary, novels and sonnets
So much and too many
All in my eyes or just the paper’s itch

I wait, I wait
To understand the mystery,
Of body and mind
Sex and love
Siamese twins

Ciphers disdain these questions
Some ambiguities can’t be deciphered
By a mere itch
Blank paper is just as susceptible
As a crossroad

Birthday Bash and Birthday Cakes

So I celebrated my birthday by hosting a traditional roof top party. It was a fun party.....though I would have loved to party all night...... but not many people were willing to stay all night.

With each year passing by the number of candles really go up.......but with me it was even the number of birthday cakes..... I dissected four birthday cakes this year.

Now apparently people have changed their drinking habits. People who used to drink Beer asked for Scotch. And no one touched Bacardi (Rum). But anyways it all balanced out. No matter what happens we can never run out of booze at my party. I always have extra.....and additional extra......just in case people decide to get totally wasted...

Big news....

Hello,

I haven't blogged in zillion years......I haven't been busy.....I haven't been lazy.... I have just been down. Yeah....when a guy like me is down.....he sits all day long watching movies/TV....he needs to get out of the city.....he researches about stupid trivia......

So last month we saw India's best ever performance at the Olympics. I was disheartened when Akhil Kumar lost..... but the fact is that I am in total awe of that guy.....he is awesome....

And of course Vijender Kumar is going to be pretty much everywhere. Everyone is running after him..... he totally deserves this...... but the fact is that things are going big for him only after he got a medal at Olympics....before Olympics also he was doing good.... he won medals at Commonwealth games and Asian Games. I just hope that things finally change for Boxing and boys at Bhiwani.

Bravo for Sushil Kumar

His Final match was such a treat for the eyes.....

So Big news for today:
What's that thing on my face.....my glasses..... so I finally got Specs... It's some stupid power..... but I was advised to wear anti glare.....I find it really weird.....Actually I think, I shouldn't even be wearing them.

It's just going to be one extra thing that I need to carry with me.... Now a person like me who wants the least amount of responsibility....I think it's just too much of a pressure.... Thats why I carry the cheapest possible mobile phone, because I am sacred that I'll just leave it somewhere. The weird part is that I haven't lost even a single mobile phone till now. Thats probably also because no one wants my cheap mobile. I hate carrying my wallet.....there was a time when it weighed "decent" but now it has become a lousy fat bitch.

This just tells me that i am not getting any younger......with my birthday around the corner....this is the last thing I needed.........but....whatever......
