Mama's boy is 30

So it was that time of the year again.... only this time it was bigger.... I completed 3 decades on this massive wonderful place... called earth....

I am scared... but i was scared when I turned 20 also....

We had it again ... the traditional terrace party... I did it all... balloons, ribbons, candles, lights, music, unlimited booze and beer, food, cake..... after all.... it is a big deal....

My Birthday week, I did a lot more than just the Birthday party.... I met few really old/dear friends. Blast from the past..... but it was pleasant... I stated clearly what I have learned in last 10 years....Life is too short.... live and enjoy each moment...

More musings.....

CEO is in love.... and she is gone..... blah.... blah..... this has given him some focus....I guess... Lala AKA Bobby is getting married.....

Mr. Pauva is no longer just a Pauva, I have upgraded his title as Khamba kam Pauva. he just drinks way too much. while I try to overcome my addictions, i preach about "overcoming" addictions to everyone.

Cheena and Victor are enjoying their married life. My brother is still unmarried. I am trying to get him married by 2011.

Oh...yeah ... after so many leanings and all the wise words...... I would like to tell you that for the first time i missed my flight.

I would like to blame it on stupid CWG..... I left on time.... it took me friggin 1 hour 45 minutes to reach the airport.

we grow old...... but....we don't change.... do we?

Bobby K. and his cigarette; Up in the air

Last night me and the gang (hardly a gang now) went out for a movie.... we watched "Up in the Air". It received eight Broadcast Film Critics Association nominations and garnered a win for Adapted Screenplay, six Golden Globe nominations, earning a win for Best Screenplay, three Screen Actors Guild nominations, and six Academy Award nominations.

Up in the Air has received recognition from numerous critics' associations.

Well having fired over a hundred people... I think it was pretty interesting. It was also interesting because I have the experience of being on the wrong side of the gun as well. Honestly, I liked the movie. Despite the Drama.... i think it had pretty good punches.
-------

Bobby was driving tonight.... he picked me up...... we drove over to CEO's house and while we were waiting for CEO ... Bobby decided to light up a cigarette.... now the cigarette was already out of its case/Packet for a while.... because he took it out when he was waiting for me downstairs.... he was about to light it... but then i came.... so he just left the cigarette on the dashboard.

anyways....at CEO's (downstairs)......He was about to light the cigarette.....I noticed that he was going to light up the filter.... he had it the wrong way..... it was probably going to be another 2 seconds.... or may be 3 .....I had to decide fast...should I stop him from Lighting the filter and wasting the cigarette ... or should i just let it be ... there was so much to think about ... devil inside me wanted to let it be... and then laugh at him for being so stupid and silly.....but i cud still do all that, even if i wudd've stopped'im.

It's ridiculous... but as he lighted the matchstick....i leaped over and blew it out. I told Bobby... that he had it wrong....

Of addictions.....

Sitting in a room

I wonder and still wonder

It gives me goose bumps

And I turn deaf

To the sounds around

Have I lived my life yet?

Did I dream last night?

I am an addict

I am bonded

I am a slave

And I cry over my love

Fake orgasms

And Victorian mannerisms

I sit and relax

Watch the head going up and down

The captain of the ship

Drives me to a lonely island

Celluloid maddens me

And I sit fingers crossed

And eyes wide open

I need to kill a few animals

Nerves in my brain

And those in my legs

Entangled computer wires

All look the same

I came back yesterday,

Scarred all over

The roads pitied me

And the stars

Seduced me

Unheard songs

And aching eyes

Flashing lights

All tried

Briskly touched my soul

And passed by

All names

Still fragile

Mirror and glass

And that paper pile

Reminiscent of a number

in an old Hospital file

Charcoal path and concrete sides

Ask me to be alive

“Go and get a life”

Technology web,

A moralistic site

Like a walk through

An electronic circuit

Chips made hospitable

Trying to match up frequencies and signals

Godot’s rule and

We self execute our

Death programs

And enjoy

Those very sit-coms

Over house popcorn
